Trikuta Parvata
Located about 10 km away from Deoghar on the way to Dhumka.This hill has 3 peaks therefore it is named as Trikutachal. There are many trees of wood apple in this hill, hence this place is known as the Garden of Shiva.
A temple of Shiva name Trikutachal Mahadeva temple is located at this place which is at the mouth of river Mayurakshi. There is also a cottage of sage Dayananda which is a popular picnic spot.
Tarapeet
Tarapeet is a Shaktipeeth near Deogarh. Pilgrims who come to Baidyanath visit this shrine in which an image of Tara is visible in the inner apartment of the temple.
Tapovan
Tapovan is located at a distance of 10 km from Babadham. It has a temple of Lord Shiva called Taponath Mahadeva. There are a number of caves found here, in one of the caves the Shiva linga is installed. With scenic beauty around it has become a picnic spot. There is a cracked rock, in the inner surface of the rock is a portrait of Hanuman which is astounding as it is impossible to insert a paint brush through the crack. There is also a small cemented Kund. This holy water body is known as Shukta kund, it is believed that Sita used to take bath in this kund.
Shivaganga
It is believed that when Ravana was taking the lingam to Lanka, he felt the urge to urinate. After urination, he had to wash his hands and be purified before holding the lingam. As there was no water source nearby, he gave a blow to the earth with his fist and water emerged out and formed a pond. This pond came to be known as Shivaganga. Devotees of Lord Shiva take a dip in the Shivaganga before offering water to the Jyotirlingam.
Bhaiju temples
On the west of the Baba Baidyanath Temple complex in the main market of Deoghar are three temples known as Baiju Temples. There is a Shiva lingam installed in each temple
The legend behind the name of the temple is there was a Bhil boy named Baiju. Lord Vishnu taught him to worship. He had to pour water on Shiva Lingam. As he did not have any water container. He filled his mouth with water and poured it upon the Shiva Lingam. Lord Shiva was so pleased with him. Thus this temple came to be known as Bhaiju temples.
Basukinath Temple
Located at 42 kms from Deoghar by road, this Lord Shiva temple is a must visit for all the pilgrims visiting Babadham.
Devasangha Math
This ashram is founded by Narendra Nath Brahmachary. Situated 3 kms from Baidyanath temple. The NavaDurga temple has an idol of Goddess Durga and Durga puja celebration here is a very important event. Thousands of devotees visit this place during the Durga puja.
Harila Jori (Harihar Jori)
Situated at 8 kms from the Baidyanath temple There is a Shiva temple at this place. This is the place where Ravana handed over the lingam to Lord Vishnu and went for urination. There is a stream which flows here known as the Ravana Jori. There is also a tank at this place which is famous as Shool Harini tank. It is a famous tourist place.
