The Trilinga of Grishneshwar is located in Shivlay, a pilgrimage centre, which is in a village named Verul in the state of Maharashtra. Verul village is at a distance of 30 kms from Aurangabad. 20 km away from Daulatabad and approximately 100 kms from Manmad station just adjacent to the famous Ellora Caves.
An abode for one of the 12 Jyothirlinga, the temple is set in calm and serene environment where one can mediate peacefully and connect spiritually with the Lord. The Grishneshwar temple was rebuilt by Maharani Ahilya Bai Holkar in the 1700s.
The temple made of red stones has marvellous architecture and carvings on the walls and pillars. Another major attraction is the beautiful carvings of the Dasha –avatars, the ten forms of Lord Vishnu in red stones.
