Mahashivrathri
This festival is celebrated for 10 days in the month of February- March. The functions include Rishaba Vahana, Maha Shivaratri Abhisheka, Silver car procession.
Ramalinga Prashista
The linga foundation day is celebrated annually in the month of May/June for three days.
Thirukalyanam
This festival represents the marriage of Lord Ramanatha with Goddess Parvatavardini. The seventeen- day celebration is held in the month of July/August. The celebrations include Rishabavana darshana, silver car procession, tapas, sayana sevai in gold palanquin and Thiru Kalyanam (marriage function).
Thai Poosam
During this festival a floating car procession of Lord Ramaswamy is organised at Lakshmana tirtha which is western side of the Rameshwaramam temple.
Navrathri
This festival is celebrated for 10 days in the month of September/October.
Vasanthautsavam
Celebrated for 10 days in the month of May/June.
Kantha Sashti
Celebrated for 6 days in the month of October /November
Aarudhira Darshana
Celebrated for 10 days in the month of December /January
